History
The Department of fine Art was founded in the academic year 2005-06 with aim of development in the field of visual art as a prime art educational institute on the pattern of the M.S. University Baroda, the Vishvabharati University Shantiniketan & the Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi.
As the University proposes to establish school system for greater interdisciplinary among the various filed of inquiries. It is proposed to have composite building plan to accommodate the present as well as the future courses and other requirements related to visual studies including computer labs, photographic labs, digital printing unit, Dept. library, digital archives and regional documentation centre, theory class rooms, projector rooms, seminar hall, art gallery, regular class studios , individual studios for student and teachers & hobby workshops etc.
past 17 -18 years progressive periods 05 foreign student & thousands of local ,state, other state students complete their UG/PG art education from dept. of fine arts& working as an artist proudly in varies Govt.& Privet art sectors filed of visual art.
About academic contribution 01 permanent,02 contractual teacher , 01 tutor , 06 PG Guide Teachers & 02 Language teacher are engaged in teaching of visual art UG/PG Courses.
