About Department

The Department of Hindi Started with effect from the year 1968 Dr. B.H.Rajurkar resumed his duties as Reader & Head of the Department .Before the opening of the Department Dr. B,\.C. Telang acted as In-Charge . Dr. Rajurkar was appointed as Vice-Chancellor of this University. Consequently there for Dr. Rajmal Bora was appointed as Head after that by rotation method Dr. G.T.Asthekar . Dr. C.B.Kawade . Dr.K.H.Gangawane .Dr. N.K.Shaga Dr. N.V.Sharma Dr. M.R.Sontakke Dr.A.D.Deshmukh Dr.G.R. Sonale has been acted as Head of the Department now a days Dr.M.R.Sontakke is appointed as Professors & Head of the Department . The Number of Faculty members are eight but the existing faculty members are Two Professors . One Reader and Two Lectures . Two Post Reader and one Post of Lectures are Vacant.
