Commencement of Teaching of Semester I
Course teachers should kindly follow the below mentioned rules.
- Strictly abide by the Academic Weekly Calendar.
- Stress should initially be given to train the students to prepare into ‘Seminar Papers’
- It is the duty of the Course Teacher to maintain compulsory attendance register and to report the HOD at the end of every month so that the list of students following short of attendance in individual subjects be exhibited on the Department Notice Board at the commencement of next month for the information of the concerned student.
- Course Teacher has to take care of the following:
a) Division of students into ‘groups’ in the class.
b) Allotment of ‘Topics’ to the student groups from the syllabi taught before the Mid-Semester well in advance for preparing ‘Seminar Papers’ oral Presentation.
- It is the duty of the Course Teacher to collect ‘Seminar PPT’ from the students well in advance so that they can go through them thoroughly then, discuss with the students about their approach to the ‘Topics’ and to suggest steps for register-ing improvements in their presentations.
- The Teachers who are entrusted with the task of guiding students for preparing Doctrinal & Non-Doctrinal Research Projects should help the students at every stage academically i.e. from selection of the ‘Topic’ till submission of the submission of the Project Report. Periodic presentation to assess the students’ progress should also be arranged, if necessary.

Effective Teaching for II Year
For the 4th Semester the Final Year students who obtained for Dissertation should be assisted by the Research Guides in the preparation of Dissertation. The Research Guide also should assist the student in preparing for Viva-Voce where the student is expected to speak on the research outcome and its relevance to the society.
