The School of Liberal Arts Started in June 2014 under the leadership Dr. V.L. Dharurkar, then Vice Chancellor Dr. Vijay Pandhripande extend support and guidance for this new venture. The School of Liberal Arts having an objective of start curriculum which is useful for industry, Society and for competitive examination. The Master Programme in subject Liberal Arts are useful for the Students of Social Sciences to obtain knowledge about various streams of arts, Social Science and Management. In 2016 School of Liberal Arts starts master Programme named M.A. (Archaeology) with aim to discover a rich and diverse culture of this country and preserve the Historical Monuments. Presently the School of Liberal Arts focuses on giving quality higher education in excellent form which is useful for the society and industry also.
A. Academic: School accepted the recommendation of NAAC Committee and implemented semester system, credit system and cafeteria approach in 2014. School initiated new pedagogies of participatory learning and organized field studies, study tours, student seminars. School restructured the syllabus in 2016 to suit to contemporary challenges in the field of knowledge. School launched M.A. Archaeology to make history learning applicable, which can generate employment. School has initiated faculty seminars and guest lecture. School has organized seminars, workshops, conferences in total Twelve (12) from 2014-2018.
