CBCS and Assessment
Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) :
The choice based credit system has been adopted by this centre. This provides flexibility to make the system more responsive to the changing needs of our students, the professionals and society. It gives greater freedom to students to determine their own pace of study. The credit based system also facilitates the transfer of credits.
Assessment:
There will be weekly-tests, assignments, tutorials, presentations for each subject as a part of continuous internal assessment (CIA). Apart from this, there will be the semester end examination. The setting of the question paper and the assessment will be done by the concerned teacher who has taught the course. The average marks obtained in CIA and marks obtained in semester end examination will be considered for the preparation of final marks / grades.
